CKS Benelux is looking for an Account executive to be based primarily in Brussels in order to support its growth on the various markets of the Benelux area.

 

Job description:
While the consultant will be involved on ongoing business consulting projects, she/he will assist the partners in implementing CKS Benelux's business acquisition and development strategy.

Namely:

  • Task 1: Formalize the business acquisition strategy based on discussion with the partners and acquaintance with products and services offered by CKS;
  • Task 2: Define a list of tasks to be conducted in order to drive market awareness, and run through this list;
  • Task 3: Handle prospects through the commercial pipeline, including scheduling and participating to client meetings and closing of sales

Language requirements:

  • Dutch: mother tongue;
  • English: a requirement;
  • French: an asset.

 

Desired skills:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; ability to adapt to unexpected situations;
  • Excellent analytical skills and commercial intuition;
  • Ability to work independently based on a roadmap.

Information for applicants:
CKS Benelux’s office is located in the centre of Brussels. The Account executive will be expected to travel throughout the area as part of their assignment.

Senior consultant in Operational excellence,

specialized in Transport & Logistic (M/F)

 

Your mission
You will be integrated into a project team at the client and will act as a leader to manage transport and logistic initiatives in order to leverage value creation opportunities. If needed, you will also coach our client key stakeholder’s through transport & logistic challenges to deliver sustainable financial and operational performance.


As such you will be in charge of;

  • Support diagnosis activities and opportunities identifications including digital solutions to optimize o transport cost (loading rate, adequate transport solution, optimized routing, FTL/LTL, cost-to-deliver,…)
    o distribution (cross-dock solutions, hub,…)
    o inbound/outbound flows (traffic management, challenge actual process and sizing,…)
    o warehouse management (stock location, picking process, layout review, storage solutions,…)
  • Assist and coach teams to deliver performance value through new pragmatic strategies
  • Implement proposed solutions and support operational teams towards change attitudes till results
  • Perform value analysis and conduct if necessary external market studies to find best solutions for transport
  • Manage RFQ’s and negotiations with external suppliers if needed
  • Becoming partner of both senior and operational management to build long term relationship

 

Your profile
We are mainly looking for talents with a master degree from business schools, engineering or universities specialized in Logistic with 3 to 5 years of solid experience in Transport and/or Logistic area from working in industry and/or other consulting companies with the following requirements;

  • Experience in warehouse management and flow management
  • Knowledge of transport suppliers, alternative transport solutions and constraints and costs by destination
  • High motivation and flexibility, with the ability to adapt and to work autonomously
  • Rigor, integrity, creativity, team spirit and analytical skills are essential assets to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, listening)
  • Ability to challenge conventional thought, and come up with innovative solutions
  • Excellent leadership (direct or indirect) and interpersonal skills
  • Native in French or Dutch or German, fluent in English but anyway fluent in French (our corporate language)
  • You are willing to travel to the customer workplace

Your mission
Integrated into a project team at the client, as a consultant in Organization and Change Management, you will:

  • Analyze key processes and propose solutions for simplification and improvement,
  • Implement proposed solutions and changing attitudes,
  • Support our customers in improving their performances,
  • Facilitate the implementation of the company's strategy,
  • Become the privileged interlocutor of both the general management and the operational staff,
  • More specifically regarding your Purchasing expertise: o Carry out audits of the purchasing function within the customer (diagnosis),
    – Improve purchasing organisation performances,
    Optimize purchases costs: implement procurement management tools such as Market Intelligence, Cost Breakdown Structure, supplier segmentation (Kraljic), supply risk management, ability to lead negotiations, …

Your profile
We are mainly looking for bac + 5 graduates with a Master's degree in Purchasing Management or from major business schools, engineers or universities with less than 3 years’ professional experience in procurement or consulting:

  • Motivated and flexible, you have already demonstrated your adaptability and autonomy,
  • Rigor, humility, creativity, motivation and team spirit are essential qualities for success,
  • You are fluent in French, both in oral and written communication combined with a good sense of formalization,
  • You are proficient in English; knowledge of a third European language is an asset,
  • Ideally, you have completed an additional training in purchasing (ex: specialist buyer’s diploma from ABCAL),
  • Knowledge of public procurement is an asset,
  • Knowledge of market places, reverse auctions or software such as ARIBA, Bravo, Coupa, Beeline,... or similar solutions is an asset,
  • You accept frequent trips abroad while being attached to Luxembourg
